On Love
The word love has been used a lot by different kind of people,young and old alike,in different places at different times.Many thinkers had tried to fathom what it's really all about and yet,still,up to this time,nobody had really come up with a concise definition of the word.Perhaps because love is such a great word that to try to box it up into a definition would try to limit it's greatness. For me,love is something that is so powerful,something that we all submits at certain points in our lives.It is the driving force that moves people to go on inspite of difficulties.It is the passion for something or someone that makes us care for the oher.I agree with Scott peck when he said that it is the willingness to extend oneself,to bring out the best in both parties,to nurture and grow together.Love liberates us from our own biases and prejudices and makes us see something more beautiful from the ones that we love.It helps us to transcend ourselves and go beyond selfishness and superficiality. Love is too deep and too wonderful to be put into words.It is something that is felt and is acted upon. Love is as love does. It is an experience, something that we could only marvel because of its greatness.
