UNCONDITIONAL AND NONJUDGMENTAL LOVE

In loving phrases we usually use the words "inspite" or "despite of" but I believe that just as importantly, love is "because". Sometimes one loves and then put that person on a pedestal. We overlook the things we don't like or judge the person. Consequently, we will not know the person in his uniqueness. Loving should mean going beyond the physical, we love completely and wholeheartedly. Moreover, love is not blind, it just has a different way of seeing, we recognize the beloved with more than our eyes, we recognize him with our soul. If ever we want to change the beloved to someone better, there should not be any pressure on our part. To act or to let him be, the lover is the only one who knows just as long as it is for the good of the beloved. There are many manifestations of love. Yet, for always, real love, no matter how unworthy the object, is a glorious adventure breaking the chains of selfishness and broadening one's horizon. One sympathize more tenderly, whatever the result, if you have not loved, you have not lived.
