PHILOSOPHY OF PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This is a course on self-creation and individual nurturance. This subject is a psychological extension of philosophy of man. It attempts to improve significant areas of the self--the cognitive, affective, and behavioral elements of personality. The context of this course is primarily psycho-philosophical coupled with new trends of thoughts of the New Age Philosophy.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course intends to achieve the following goals: to enable the students to see themselves as they are and to project what they can become; to make them appreciate life and the miracles present in ordinary existence; to help them nurture themselves through right attitudes and right choices in their relationship with others and with the world.

MID-TERM EXAM

IV. Mind and Personal Transformation

Creating a Miracle Mind-set. Realizing the Power. How the Mind Works. Reprogramming Your Mind to Success. Affirming the Self.

V. Transforming the Self

Cutting the Chains. Possessions. The Body. The Power of Negative Feeling. The Power of Negative Action. Self-healing.

VI. Happiness

On Happiness. The Happy Person. Surviving Crises and Torturous conditions.

VII. Living Well

Law of Lifetime Growth. Law of Personal Peace. Wrapping It Up.
