WHY DO I MISS YOU SO?

Haven't heard from you today--

there's only coldness and silence inside:

in my heart and in my soul.

 

I miss the announcement of your letter,

the excitement of reading it,

and of savoring with delight the meaning

of every word, of every sentence, and even

the punctuations that say you are smiling:)

 

I couldn't change the course of events

which is due to a technical server problem.

Funny how this problem could affect so much

my sleep, my wakefulness,

my today and even my tomorrow 

that seem to crawl like endless sorrow.

 

What does the heart say when you miss someone?

Does it whisper, does it speak or does it skip a beat?

Why do I miss you: heart, soul, senses, and all?

 

But just in case the server is back

and you will be able to read what's in this chart

I hope you will forgive this little poetic chat

that comes from my anguished heart!
