For every sun-thrilled dawn

And for every  star-drenched sky

A heart swells with the uneven pace of life,

A voice, inaudible, unspeakable,

But alive!

 

Yes, it will  always be there

in each sigh,

lonely as a sigh can be,

That yearning and longing

Of this heart for another heart!
