A CHRISTMAS MESSAGE TO MY SOULMATE

My Precious Soul Mate,

We have been loving each other for almost eight months now and still I have not yet recovered from the astonishment of having met you in the first place.  Meeting you, knowing you as a person, and afterwards finding myself in love with you are some of life's best surprises for me.  This Christmas, I would like to honor you by being candid to you in this letter as there is no better way of writing than that words come directly from one's heart.

Even though meeting you was a chance event, loving you now is no longer accidental.  I choose to love you.  This means embracing all of you as a person, accepting you for everything that you are, and allowing you to be yourself in our journey together in this life.

Loving you means honoring your truth, respecting your decisions, and supporting you in your own unique path in life. There is no better way to love you than to allow you to be your authentic self.

Once the thrill of attraction, the rush of chemistry and the pleasure that lovemaking brings reach their lowest point, you and I will be left with the reality of ourselves. When we reach this point, the works of love and its many tests begin. I promise to work things out with you--I will communicate rather than assume, ask rather than jump to conclusions, fight rather than leave, and stay through misunderstandings, hurt feelings and disappointments.  As I've told you a countless times before, I will always stay in your life for as long as you want me to.

I maybe a hopeless romantic but my feet are on solid ground. I have  been unfairly singed before but I have learned good, valuable lessons from that experience.  I consider my bad experience in the past an advantage and an edge in my relationship with you.  I can flex, bend, and be strong for both of us as we weather together some storms in life. I can give you the safety of my love where you can be yourself as you shimmer in your truth and rest in the crescent of your uniqueness.

This Christmas, I would like you to know again that I treasure you.  There will never be another person who is exactly like you.  You are unrepeated and so is my love for you.  I may not be there with you at the moment to enjoy this Season but if I could only be with you right now you know the things that I would love to do for you.  My soul is holding you now, caressing you and kissing you.

I will look forward to the day when I could spend not only my Christmas with you but my life with you. Loving you now is one of life's sweetest joys but being with you is what this love is all about. If I could take a picture and freeze it for eternity, I would like the picture of us together, growing, evolving as spiritual partners, teammates, lovers, soul mates and the best of friends.

Loving you always and forever,

Amy
